Bribie Island Skin Cancer Clinic hosts five Doctors.  Our doctors neither dermatologists nor plastic surgeons but are highly trained general practitioners specialising in skin cancer diagnosis and treatment. Over 98% of our patients are treated without referral to another speciality.

A reputable skin cancer proceduralist, Dr Norton has been on the board of the Australasian College of Skin Cancer Medicine and has been an invited lecturer to speak at several key skin cancer conferences. Through his medical career, he has established strong medical alliances both with doctors and other allied health professionals.

Dr Cikes-Thompson has been a doctor on the Caboolture Region since 1998 when she completed her internship at Caboolture and Redcliffe Hospitals.  When vocationally registered, Dr Cikes-Thompson worked as a GP at a significant seven Doctor practice in Morayfield for a period of four years.  She has been at Bribie Island Skin Cancer Clinic for more than 15 years.

Dr Fu was an Advanced Trainee in Gynaecology Oncology before moving to Australia with her family in 2017. She got AMC certificate and had been trained in hospitals in NSW, ACT and QLD for the last few years. Dr Fu developed special interest in Skin Cancer Medicine during her GP training. She had training in Dermoscopy and holds Professional Certificate of Skin Cancer Surgery.

Dr Thompson commenced work as a doctor in the Caboolture region in 1998 when he completed his internship at Caboolture and Redcliffe Hospitals. He continued as a registrar at Caboolture Hospital with PHO terms In Anaesthetics and terms in Medicine, Paediatrics, Obstetrics and Emergency Department.

When vocationally registered, he worked as a GP at a Morayfield practice for a period of 5 years. He then commenced work at Bribie Island Skin Cancer Clinic In 2006.

Currently Dr Thompson works Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday at the skin cancer clinic. Bible Island Skin Cancer Clinic also hosts Dr Thompson's own business, Lachesis. Lachesis is a mobile service which offers preventative health assessments including ECG testing, predominantly to mature age patients, and also Aviation Medical Examinations.

Dr Zeeshan
Dr Zeeshan Ahmed

MBBS FRNZCUC

Dr Zeeshan graduated from Pakistan and later worked in New Zealand for over 12 years. He worked as a registrar and medical officer in Plastic surgery for over 5 years, and later worked in skin clinics as a skin cancer doctor and urgent care general practitioner.

He was a lecturer at Auckland School of Medicine. He holds fellowship in Urgent care from NZ and advanced certificate from Skin Cancer College Australia.
