Bribie Island Skin Cancer Clinic hosts three Doctors. Our doctors neither dermatologists nor plastic surgeons but are highly trained general practitioners specialising in skin cancer diagnosis and treatment. Over 98% of our patients are treated without referral to another speciality.

A reputable skin cancer surgeon, Dr Norton has been on the board of the Australasian College of Skin Cancer Medicine and has been the invited lecturer to speak at several key skin cancer conferences. Through his medical career, he has established strong medical alliances both with doctors and other allied health professionals.

Dr Thompson commenced work as a doctor in the Caboolture region in 1998 when he did his internship at Caboolture and Redcliffe Hospitals. He continued as a registrar at Caboolture Hospital with PHO terms In Anaesthetics and terms in Medicine, Paediatrics, Obstetrics and Emergency Department.
Dr Thompson was also posted to relieve at Kilcoy hospital.
When vocationally registered, he worked as a GP at a Morayfield practice for a period of 5 years. He then commenced work at Bribie Island Skin Cancer Clinic In 2006.
Currently Dr Thompson works Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday at the skin cancer clinic. Bible Island Skin Cancer Clinic also hosts Dr Thompson's own business, Lachesis. Lachesis is a mobile service which oilers preventative health assessments including ECG testing, predominantly to mature age patients, and then coordinates care arrangements for patients and their families.
